QuickDraw

Justin Wharry

QuickDraw is a deck-building game that fuses the grit of the American West with the enduring tension of chance-based play. It is a landscape where a single pair can ignite a cascade of draws, risks, and reversals — culminating in high-stakes duels shaped as much by strategy as by fate. At its core, QuickDraw examines the intersections of chance & decision-making. Each card embodies an element of frontier mythology: relics, outlaws, wild creatures, and familiar hands that anchor the experience in a shared cultural memory.

Drawing from centuries of card-playing tradition, QuickDraw also references the esoteric roots of playing cards in tarot and occult symbolism. Its mechanics mirror the unpredictability of survival in a lawless frontier, where every choice carries weight and consequence.

Within design, QuickDraw operates at the nexus of product creation, brand identity, aesthetic direction, and experiential storytelling. Each shuffle offers a new narrative and a shifting field of possibility. In the beginning, only the cards you are dealt matter — yet it is how they are played that determines the path ahead.
