We(I)ᴱnterFrag(me)nt{ary}

Raymond Gabriel

Our identities are shaped via a complex mixture of historical and cultural fragments, constantly evolving and adding depth to our essence, showing that we live in an extra dimensional state of being by combining memory, intention, and multifaceted identities. Each fracture acts as a touch of a brush in our body’s canvas, intertwined within an elaborate network of meaning and multiplicity that contributes to our interconnected lives. We transcend beyond our historical narratives, the media we consume, the roles we embody, and our creative expressions.

We(I)ᴱnterFrag(me)nt{ary} is the employment of fragment assemblage –magazines, documents, letters, photographs, dancers, love notes, mirrors, and journeys… the remnants left behind by our histories and identities; an echo of the mind that created it. The shards of life are exposed in the cracks on the wall, under the skin, and on the floor, showing the reverberations of existence.
